So Toyota is the one of the only automakers that can't design a drive shaft that doesn't bind? That's basically what they are saying if it has existed for years and they know the cause.

Drove it all weekend and not once creak or any type of noise. Maybe this should be a sticky?

Did the fix yesterday. $2.59 and 10 minutes later, I don't have one creak. Very easy fix. I should bill Toyota for my time and materials.

I plan on doing the fix this weekend. No need to waster time making an appt, driving around with a tech to hear it, pointing out the TSB then waiting hours for them to lube 8 points of contact. Has anyone tried the fix themselves and if so what was the outcome?

My creaking has gotten much worse. I want to make sure it is painfully obvious before I take it back in again so they can't tell they didn't hear it. It is definitely the seat whether it be the frame or the rails.

I can't tell exactly where the squeak is coming from. Sounds like bottom of seat on right hand side but could also be coming from seat back. I took it in and they were unable to get it to make any noises so they won't fix it. I figure I will have to wait until it squeaks all the time, then take...
