Yup! Just the drive shaft - no control arms, etc. I'm still waiting, and actually think the problem will return. But I certainly will be happy if it doesn't! (not that my happiness really depends on this drive shaft - lol)jtateny said:And this is without any of the other Lexus "fixes", am I right? Lucky you. My appointment with Romano Toyota in Syracuse is next Tuesday....wish me luck!
So who's gonna honcho this thing?![]()

BTW: Still no clunk after they replaced my driveshaft. I did one 5k lube on it (using Mobile synthetic grease). Shot 2-3 squirts into each zerk.
Haven't heard of the issue except when coming to a stop.nc211 said:Tery, it's been about 5k since I lubed the zerks on my 05', and I'm noticing the clunk starting to come back a little. But, I'm curious about one thing: is the clunk really only seen when you come to a stop? Or does it show it's ugly head during driving? I ask, because I've notice that when I hit a dip in the road while under aceleration, the rear end hits hard, like i'm bottoming out, but I'm not. I'm wondering if that's the yolk slider hitting...??
