Yes, they are a good product. I just had an idiot working on my vehicle, that is no fault of the product.

The shop I was going to never really wrenched the cam bolts and they kept working loose and causing the popping. Once a different place figured out they were losse and really tightened them down it never made another sound.

The rear shock lower mounting bolt for the runner is larger than the Tacoma I believe. As far as the front goes. I think you will be fine. Without rear springs it should be level. If you want a slight forward rake I would add rear fjsprings. They are slightly better than the rear 4runner springs...

Yeah, My 03 v8 4x4 with Tacoma springs.... Also arkswamprider did a write up on them. The TRD springs are way beefier than the stock 4runner springs and were taller as well iirc. I will try to find the links on everything I researched prior to doing the swap.

Plenty of folks have ran the Daystar with fj's setup and no control arms or issues. If you have the XREAS you may notice what I noticed with the daystar kit. The rear shocks are short and nearly anytime the rear flexed it you could feel the shocks running out of travel. The 5100's all around...

Add 05+ TRD Tacoma coils to that list. They are good for about a inch of lift them selves and have a bit stiffer ride then the Fj and 4Runner springs.

Having had most of the common colors of vehicles. I like white and silver they stay the "cleanest" and to me look the best. That said black is sexy when it's clean...... Id probably go white.
