That's not a bad idea, thanks. No, there was no rust that I saw. I had been using this spot for my heavy gauge car stereo grounding spot. So it had been getting removed/tightened several times over and I probably put a lot of stress on the joint.

Ugh, I was tightening the front left bolt that holds down my drivers seat when the darn thing just popped right out of the freaking floorboard. So now there is a small hole where the bolt-hole thread used to be. Any inexpensive suggestions?

Btw, what's the largest size tablet that will fit in the stock car stereo area? Anything larger than a 7" Google Nexus I hope?
