Hi, I bought two OEM lower ball joints for my 2001 4runner. One of them is so tight that I can barely move it. The other one can be moved very easily with two fingers. It's not sloppy, but it's nothing like the other one. Is this normal? I called the dealer and they said they've seen both...

Hi, I need to replace my 2001 hood insulation pad. The dealer wants $600.00. Does anyone know where I can get a fitted after market pad? I don't really want the adhesive kind, but a pre molded one. Thanks for any ideas!

I found that area of the site, but when I check for shocks and struts I only see full assemblies with coils, I don't see any Tocikos.

Are KYB shocks a good replacement for my 3rd Gen 4runner? Would the Excel-G be the best for close to factory specs? My 4rd gen is a city dweller, just looking to improve the ride as the shocks have never been replaced by the previous owner. Thanks!

I've had the car for 19 years and it's never made this noise. The AC is ice frigging cold. I'm in Fl so the temp setting is max cold on the dial.

I have a 2001 runner with 187k. The other day when i got home I noticed a gurgling sound coming from around the passenger dashboard area. I know the blower motor is there and I believe the ac evap is there too. The sound subsided the longer I sat and it stopped immediately when I shut the key...

Thanks for the valuable info. My ride actually feels great other than the occasional rut. It sits nice and level and doesn't have a drop of rust on it. That's one of only few good reasons to live in Florida. However, it is 20 years old and I plan on keeping it until one of us dies. Thanks again!
