Both are bad. I drive mostly SF city and hilly Marin highways so my mileage is usually worse than city numbers. 16mpg is still a 23% improvement on 13mpg.

I had 2016 LC and refueling was just a constant reminder of how inefficient the engine is. The LC fuel tank is only 7% larger than a 4Runner, but LC mileage is 30% lower. I loved our LC especially since it fit our large family. It wasn't even our daily driver. But those frequent gas station...

The lease numbers shared on the edmunds.com 2016 4Runner lease forums did not have separate money factors for the TRD Pro. Not sure if that was an error or if dealers were padding the money factor. I had been talking to SF Toyota for a few weeks about getting either a TRD Pro or Land Cruiser...

Tell them you'll sell your car yourself and take the the deal on the new 4runner. If they won't sell the new 4runner at $34.8k, then you were about to get boned. Figure out what your car is worth then negotiate.
