TRD Pro Quicksand
Hi there, new member here :director:
Planning on leasing a 4Runner TRD Pro quicksand in Miami, FL. I currently drive a Lexus RC F and Im curious on how the ride comfort is on the TRD?
Also I would like to know if anyone have managed to get Toyota Financial to apply their leasing offers from the regular 4Runner on to the TRD model, since I see specials going on but the exception being the TRD.
Last RV and MF that I checked for 24montns in FL were 70% and 0.00190 for 4Runners excluding TRD.
Whats the average monthly rate people are paying on TRD's on leases of 24/27/36 months with 0 zero down? Or some down? Waiting for the rain of replys! Thanks! :rockon:

True. BUT good luck finding one. You need beyond good luck in most parts of the US. Hence why for some unknown reason people are paying these premiums.
True and it's like 12wk lead time to order as well from what I was told.

Everyone still trying to push Trail on me since they do not have TRD Pro...and I've had a number of dealers offer me to reserve a TRD Pro, anywhere from 6-12 weeks out...but so many seem to be getting white ones and I do not like white, want grey but would deal with the sand color too...
Someone today offered me a Trail with a "TRD Appearance Package" I emailed back what the heck is that hah...some silly stuff thrown on to make it look cooler, rather than the suspension and AT tires?

The lease numbers shared on the edmunds.com 2016 4Runner lease forums did not have separate money factors for the TRD Pro. Not sure if that was an error or if dealers were padding the money factor. I had been talking to SF Toyota for a few weeks about getting either a TRD Pro or Land Cruiser as they seemed to be the only ones really close to me that could get at TRD. They had a TRD Pro in Quicksand with about $4k in required accessories. SF Toyota initially quoted a 7% money factor on it assuming excellent credit and only got it down to 6%. I explained that I was already agreeing to the markup but refused to also get screwed on the money factor. I had been spending too much time deciding and researching and was ready to just get one before heading to a spring break vacation. I called the day before our trip and to get their best offer. They said 7%. They freakin raised it. Such BS. They later said they would sell me a LC without a markup on the money factor. Seriously.
After more thought during our vacation I decided that the LC was a better fit for us. Lease numbers for the Land Cruiser were even harder to find. After a few discussions, the best money factor they quoted at Toyota Marin was 6% for 36mo, 12k mi/yr. Later found out that a one pay option dropped the money factor to 2.88% so I went with that. Love it so far. Found a TRD Pro hat online to complete the whole car buying hunt.

Yeah I imagine it will be hard to hassle with dealerships in SFL on the lease numbers, but Im not in a hurry so I will let them starve lol. I checked the inventory for SE Toyota and there are plenty maybe been made as we speak with destination to the SE area. Now here in FL we have an issue, my comrades from Venezuela buy all these 4Runners by the masses in cash, I don't where people are getting money from but they are buying all TRD and Limited models whenever they hit the dealership or even before, to just get them onto Port of Miami or Everglades and off to Venezuela they go :shocked:

Are dealers telling people they can't guarantee what color you will get if you place a deposit on one?
I have four on order right now for customers and each one is the exact color and accessories they wanted.

I ordered my 2016 T4R Trail on April 1, 2016. My dealer told me 6-26 weeks (I think that's just to cover his *ss). I'm thinking it'll be more like 8 weeks for delivery. Keeping my fingers crossed for sometime in the end of May.
Anyhow, here's my price breakdown (the dealer actually beat the price I offered via email right from the start):
2016 Toyota 4Runner Trail (classic silver metallic): $35,672
-- KDSS (KD)
-- Radio, Entune Premium w/ Nav (EE)
-- Cargo Cover (5A)
-- Remote Engine Starter (V4)
-- Keep It Wild Savings rebate (QB)
(4) TRD Pro Matte Black Wheels ... + $820
(5) Cooper Discoverer AT/W Tires ... + $1,145 (mounted & balanced)
(5) $75 credit per OEM tire ... – $375

I paid $1500 off of the MSRP. I found the VIN I wanted on the SET distributor site and had them transfer it in for no extra cost. Otherwise $2k off sticker seems like the avg price for T4Rs on the lot.

It was a dealer demo with 2500 miles on it. Stickered for $45.8K
They also had a Quicksand TRD Pro sitting in front they just got in. Think it was around $43K. It's Fowler in Norman, OK. If you do want it, ask for Devon and tell him T.J. sent you, and I'll get $100 referral.

True. I inquired about 3 4runners (SR5, SR5 Premium and my Trail Premium) at the dealership I bought mine from and they were firm on exactly $2000 below the sticker price.

Looking to purchase out of state (well gulf states!) and bring the car back to Texas. Any guides/recommendations on getting the process to go smoothly.. Am guessing there should not be too many issues crossing state borders with a temporary registration..

No problem at all. I live in Oklahoma and purchased a Subaru for my wife from Denver and drove it back. We did get pulled over in Texas because dealer put paper tag in back window and apparently Texas wants them on the outside. Just checked me out then let us go...no big deal.
