Just bought a 4th gen and was running it in 4lo just to check it out. When in 4lo, My shifter doesnt seem to allow me to shift out of “D” and manually select a lower gear like “3” or “L” for example… am I just not being forceful enough with the gear selector? Or is there a procedure for locking...

2005 SR5 4x4 v6 Just paid 17k for a 2005 SR5 4x4 v6 with 85k miles. Needs some inner CV boots, but other than that she runs and drives great. very clean interior and exterior for being 15+ years old. Been in AZ its entire life, so zero rust.
