Done!
Did this today. It really does take about 20 minutes. My fronts were rubbing only on backing up and turned hard. But it would rub on backing out of a parking space. Really annoying for me. My fronts were rubbing both on the mud flaps and the front liners. So I removed the mud flaps...
Its an easy mistake to make: OME vs OEM.
I have a 2016 Trail Premium and they work with a little modification. I'm not sure if the 2018 is the same. I would chance it if I had your 4runner, but I don't mind trimming the front bumper and removing the mud flaps. You might. I guess the only...
I don't know for sure, but I think the TRD Pro wheels are the same exact size as the stock wheels. I do know that different aftermarket wheels have different offsets, so some wider wheels could be similar to the stockers with spacers. But if it rubs, you know what to do (see post #1).
Huh, I didn't even know this was a thing until I saw Jason's video. I did the 285 KO2's on the stock rims on my 2016 trail premium and mine rub a little on the liner in front of the tire when I'm backing up and turning sharply. I think the spacers Jason is using definitely add to the rubbing...
I did this and it actually works better than you'd think. Sometimes I have a difficult time understanding the computer voice, but still...
Thanks so much for letting me know about this!
How does one do this? I read that it has the capabilities, but I've never seen a grey bar or indication of a text message. I'm on an iPhone. I assumed this only worked with droid phones.
I had a Ford Bronco II 100 years ago (or so it feels like that) and they had a similar recommendation. I don't recall it having a specific number, but something about using the 4x4 system monthly.
Wow, thanks for that info about the Salex Organizers. I put both the dividers and the trey in my cart on Amazon. I knew I needed that, just didn't know they existed. Thanks again!
Good to see other motorcyclists here. I have a small trailer which is set up for hauling either of my bikes and I was planning to use that. I have used a hitch rack in the past, but it was on my Tundra with a class 3 hitch and more tongue capacity. I might us it to haul my WR250R, but not the...
I'm sort of new to this sport, but in off-road motorcycling, if someone falls off the bike, as long as they're not hurt, we ALWAYS get a photo before helping them. I guess off-roaders don't do that...
I ride motorcycles too and there are a few brand snobs in that sport as well. Its really kind of sad. I guess if you're going to be picky about who helps you if you get stuck, you either need to learn not to get stuck, or carry the supplies you need to get yourself unstuck.
Thanks for that link! These will fit the 5th gen? I'm sinus challenged so I keep a kleenex box handy and I was trying to figure out how to do this in my new 4Runner.
