I am planning to buy the Hella Micro DE foglights for my 2002 4Runner SR5. I was wondering will I be able to just plug and play a HID kit to the Hella Micro DE?

So what is the panel call in the trunk of the 4Runner. Its located in the right rear before the tire hump from the trunk lid. It has two knobs when you turn it, the panel comes off. So what is this panel call?

That looks like my 4Runner the day I bought it from the dealership back in Dec 01. I think thats like the base model of the 4Runner because I had those same rims on my car. Also he has the black tire fenders around the car like my does. So that should be the base model 2002 4Runner.

Finally I found out that I needed to cut the black/yellow wire. So far no side effects what so ever and I still have my auto-off. No more wasting my HIDs in the daytime.

Can you tell me which wire did you snip so that I don't cut the wrong one?

I've already tried that. All it did was turn off all my lights inside the car including the headlights.

Yes they are both using the same bulb in my car. I saw that there is a plug that goes into the DRL module under the steering wheel. Do you think it is safe to unplug the DRL from under the steering wheel and not have any side effects?
