Mine holds a quart of Mobil 1 oil and a roll of toilet paper. No telling when you'll be out in the middle of nowhere, needing one or the other. :D

Except that it would be, more likely, the authorities asking to look at your black box data in an investigation of an accident severe enough to warrant examining the data recorder, not the other driver's insurance company...

Courts have ruled time and time again that you can't use the "privacy" argument to supress criminal evidence...

I got this same deal. I never used the extended warranty on my '96, and didn't plan on getting it for my '04, but this seemed to be a pretty good deal. Sure, they're making 7 years worth of interest off my money, but if something goes wrong with the truck, I'm covered...
