Turns out my friend and I can't stick around to camp :( It sounded like fun. We are able to come up on the 24th and be around all day. My dad managed to fix my transmission. It had 6 gallons of fluid it in! someone definitely didn't take care of it or just didn't care. Now he runs like brand new...

What's the camping situation look like? My friend was curious. Afraid I may have to get a whole new transmission. Had 6 gallons of fluid in there :O. Still slipping when I drive it but not for my dad which is strange. Hoping to get him fixed soon. I miss driving my 4runner

Thanks! I'll let you know if I need anything. With my work schedule I was only able to pull the back of the transmission off. Going to have my dad do some work for me tonight

Go ahead and count me and my friend in. If something else comes up with my 4runner I will definitely keep updating about the progress. Going to work on it tonight and pray for the best :/

I'm going to flush it this weekend when I'm free and just hope for the best. That's all I can really do since I don't have the history of it except for what I've done to the car

When is it going to be? I've got trans problems again. I don't know if my car had ever been serviced so I'm afraid to flush the trans. I think I might do it anyway and hope for the best.

I've got 2 kc's on the front of my 97 and I hid my wires through the grill and up the right side of the engine and connected it to my battery. Breaking through the fire wall for a back up switch was the worst part because whoever owned my car before me wired everything beyond wrong! Hope this...

I drove my sister to work this morning then came home and gave him the royal treatment. He got cleaned inside and out! Windexed the windows inside and out as well, even the sunroof. Fixing to go pick my sister up and then off to Walmart we go

I own a 97 limited and love it!! I have no problems with mine. Its even a 4 wheel drive that I haven't tried out yet but you're going to love being the proud owner of it because I am(:

I honestly don't wanna get something cheap that's either gonna short out or will stop working. I'd really like to get the factory keyless entry though. My poor yota has been through a lot and I wanna be the owner to make it a true limited again

I think that's how it's supposed to look but I'm not sure where to go to get one programmed if I did order that part online and by the way, I like your 4runner. I thought about taking it to Toyota to get it done but they want $300 :(
