Keyless Entry?

Just got my very 1st 4runner a month ago and am in love with it. Always been a fan of the vehicle but could never find one that suited me until I found mine. I had just recently noticed that I have Toyota Security and realized that my 97 came with a keyless entry but didn't come with it when I bought it. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg and aint gonna trust myself to do it. Any suggestions on how to do it right but at a fair price?

I think this is how your factory remote should look like.

I think that's how it's supposed to look but I'm not sure where to go to get one programmed if I did order that part online and by the way, I like your 4runner. I thought about taking it to Toyota to get it done but they want $300

The link speedy posted says the remote comes with easy to do yourself instructions for programming.

cheapo keyless/arlarm system with 2 remotes should cost you around $150 installed.

check your local alarm stereo shop.

I honestly don't wanna get something cheap that's either gonna short out or will stop working. I'd really like to get the factory keyless entry though. My poor yota has been through a lot and I wanna be the owner to make it a true limited again
