Well the bad news is in. Crack is too long for repair. It actually got longer just sitting in the heat in my garage. Bye bye $450. I will check with insurance just to see how much $0 deductable glass coverage costs.

Sr5 I have been away from the forum for awhile. I do not think it should require further investment, over the amount I paid for the vehicle, to make it right. With 16K miles on the odo I shouldn't have to fix anything.

Sr5 I owned a 2002 Tacoma and presently have a 98 Tacoma with 117K miles. Both of those trucks are/were easier to drive than the 4Runner. However, if you spent any long days in either of these trucks you will end up with a serious case of monkey butt. The 4Runner seats are a huge improvement.
