Hi I posted earlier that I had an 86 4Runner with a blown/cracked motor. It got better. The truck is an 87 and it has a 21 RU motor EFI. I found an 85 22R to replace but wasnt sure if I could bolt up my existing EFI. Any thoughts?

Kid V Thanks for the advice. Is that a fairly direct swap for my model. I have seen threads for newer models but wasnt sure how direct that was.

I have recently acquired an 86 model with a blown 22R and want to replace. Will any 22R work (Tercel, Van, Truck)? Thanks for the help. I am just beginning this project so I'm sure I will need all expertise I can get. Thanks.
