    Troubleshooting starting issue

Yeah I'm closing in on 200k so I should probably check out both of those as well. How long has this problem persisted on yours? Also any check engine lights on with yours? Thanks for the help

    Troubleshooting starting issue

For a while now my '02 has had this weird starting issue and I can't figure out the damn issue. When she's cold she fires up every time perfectly. When she's hot she fires up perfectly. The issue only arises once the car sits for a few hours after driving. I will go to start it and it will turn...

    Clogged Injector?

My 02 has been getting a P0302 (cylinder 2) misfire code for a while. I've been clearing it each time seeing there isn't any noticeable issues I can hear or feel and it usually always comes back. I'm sure there is something wrong but there's no rough idle, gas mileage is the same, occasionally...

    Suggestions with P0302

Recently after a trip to Tahoe I had my CE light come on as well as the VSC and TRAC OFF. I have a Scan Guage so i checked the code and P0302 came up. supposed to be Cylinder 2 misfire from what I've read? Ive had a misfire code before, about a year ago after wheeling in Big Sur and cleared it...

    CBI fold down carrier question

I would throw it in the back but with my cargo boxes and platform with subs on it, it won't fit. Thanks for the reply looks like I'll save up for a rear :ranger:

    CBI fold down carrier question

Thanks for the input, sounds like I will hold off. I would just stick the spare in the rear and call it that but it won't fit. I have cargo boxes I built in the back with a platform running across with my subs. Looks like I'll just save up for a rear and then fab my own swing out.

    CBI fold down carrier question

Anybody have any experience with the CBI fold down tire carrier? Tired of not driving around with a spare due to it being to big for the stock spot, and full rear bumper just isn't in the budget. Is it worth getting?

    You need to see this...

Well.. Long story short, My trusty 3rd Gen is basically taking a dump on me. I guarantee what you are about to see, you have never seen before. My family friend who has been a mechanic and working on cars and Toyotas for over 20yrs has never seen anything like this on a running motor. The...

    OME lift kit questions.

Agreed. You may or may not need spacers. I have 285/75/16s and after my lift I couldn't even get the tip of my pinky in between my uca and tire. So yes, you might need them. Chances are you will, but always the possibility you won't ever rig differs. But it's nice having all the clearance he...

    OME lift kit questions.

You don't need UCA's. Better off getting wheel spacers. That's what I did, a lot cheaper and also looks better with a wider stance. Get spidertrax if you do. Like mentioned above, OME is pretty stiff that's why I ended up with Toytec coilovers and rear bilsteins but I have OME rear coils and...

    DanSt4R's Build Thread

JANUARY 18, 2014. The next major thing I did was to finally build my cargo boxes. This was something I always wanted to do and it was nice to finally get it going. My dad had built some for his old 85 Toyota 4x4 pickup with a shell back when I was younger so I had some good help. Especially...
