Clogged Injector?

My 02 has been getting a P0302 (cylinder 2) misfire code for a while. I've been clearing it each time seeing there isn't any noticeable issues I can hear or feel and it usually always comes back. I'm sure there is something wrong but there's no rough idle, gas mileage is the same, occasionally my car will turn over a couple extra time before starting but it only happens when it's almost cooled down after driving. Like it only does that after its sat for 2 hours or so and its at random it's not a consistent thing. My car does feel s tad down in power but nothing major and barely noticeable. I checked plugs, wires and coil packs are all good. Only thing left could be a clogged injector? Any one have similar issues? I can't think of much else I'm not the most knowledgable with cars. Anything helps thanks!

I've unplugged injectors on other vehicles without getting a misfire code. The code comes from I believe when the coil stops firing. A weak coil may cause it even if it checks good. Did you use oem wires coils and recommended plugs if you changed any? You can move the coil on that cylinder and see if the code moves to test it.

I'll take a wild guess and say it's a loose wire in a harness. Either at the coil, injector or igniter. Free and easy to check.

As far as checking them, YouTube should have videos.

I agree with the other responses that it "sounds like" something to do with spark. I would at least make sure that it wasn't first before replacing an injector.

Plugs and wires are not excessively expensive and with modest mechanical skills are fairly easy to replace.

If you do order plug wires I would recommend that you also order the plug boots that are under the coil packs. I don't believe these come with the standard wire set.

As the boots age sometimes the springs within them do so as well and if the contact is intermittent or poor the spark can find a way to ground that does not go through the plug electrode.

Ask me how I know this.

In any case if you are not comfortable changing the plugs (#2 is easy to get to) I would at a minimum start with new wires and boots if you haven't already done so.
