I finished up my JDM 3rz install. The old motor had 290k. Even though it was still running ok it was leaking from EVERYWHERE. The only thing not leaking was the rear main bc I just refreshed it when I did the clutch.

Normally I would agree as well. I am in the middle of swapping my 3rz-fe for a JDM motor. I need random gaskets and such to tidy things up. I called my local NAPA and they have told me more than once that a part is not available. When I call a dealer or go online and its no problem finding...

I got some parts for my Superduty and even though the computer says they fit, they didn't. It was a pain to get them to take it back because in their eyes the computer is never wrong. I still get parts there and chalk it up as a rare experience.

I have only had this truck for 15k miles or so. All the fluids were full, just filthy. I tend to agree with you all that the seals are aged for sure. I will find out hopefully this weekend what exactly is leaking and just hope its not a bearing.

Yeah hey I 100% agree. The parts I got were Aisin but they were not in the original manufacturers box. I got a good clutch set from Yotashop. Its all back together and I'm back on the road. No leaks or funny noises. No left over parts lol. Clutch is much smoother and lighter than before...
