You know, I didn't actually notice any sort of markings on mine.. I got them from another member (new but open box). I might have got lucky as my guess is the difference would be more than 1/2 inch once they're installed? Does yours sit perfectly level?

That's a great write-up. Installing 5100's and 881/890 with diff drop so it's perfect. Didn't know I'd have to modify the skid plate. Can anyone running the toytec diff drop confirm this? EDIT: According to Toytec website it includes skid plate spacers. Perfect!

Is there a good thread for suspension replacement? I'm planning on doing front and rear shocks/struts and springs this weekend. I can do a write-up if one isn't already out there. Didn't see anything in the maintenance sticky so I figured I'd ask.

My 5100 rears are coming in tomorrow. It'll let you know about the bushings. To my knowledge they are just standard press in.. I'm sure it will be a PITA though. I ordered a set of Bilstein replacement hourglass bushings. If you do some searching you'll find them. I know summit and AJUSA carry them.

Have you checked your tire pressure? I was getting about that when I purchased my 4Runner, improved quite a bit after matching the pressures recommended on the drivers door jamb.

I would definitely clearcoat. It will add a lot of additional toughness against chips. If you don't want a shinny finish go with a matte or semi-gloss. My only recommendation is to use the same brand clear as you did basecoat to ensure proper bonding. Just my $0.02

That looks really good! I'd like to replace my rusting stock bumper before too long. I like how you integrated the hitch as well. Do you think it has the same towing capacity as stock, and would you have to use a dropped ball to keep a trailer level? Great job on it!
