For future reference, if you use a small piece of duct tape and press it to the bulb, you can pull the lights out with literally no effort and you don't have to take anything else apart. That's how I did it.

I'm running three 16mm per side. I had only planned to put one on each side but sine I had extras, I decided to use them. It's a good amount of light. Not over bearing. I'm very happy with the results. More specifics are in the Imgur album.

That makes sense and it is scary to think about. Hopefully that wont happen.

In all fairness, the passenger side front door already unlocks all doors from the factory. I don't see how adding this feature to the drivers side door makes me more susceptible to "car jackings" but I've never been in that position so I wouldn't know. Just happy that this could be changed but...
