I have an 01 and it has never had any problem. But that is the same story you will get from most T4R owners.

If you want it, buy it. That is really low mileage. As for not being able to test the 4x4, I wouldn't worry about it. Most 4Runners never get used in 4 wheel drive so there may be little usage.

I am thinking about buying some leather seats and have a question. I was going to do this once before but was told that the SR5 wouldn't handle the power seats that come from a Limited. Is that true or is there a way to get power to the leather seats?

Have you tried synthetic oil? It offers less friction and in theory, more performance. I just made the switch so I can't testify to its performance.

The Belt and the labor were $375.00. They also said the water pump was leaking so they replaced it for another $200.00. I did it at my local Toyota dealer, although I am sure any Toyota dealer would be happy to overcharge you!
