OK, to check if it is your head gasket, look inside your radiator for oil on top, pull the oil dip stick and see if the level is high. ( If coolant is present it would be at the bottom, raising the oil level ) If no oil in radiator, and normal oil level, a leakink valve cover may be the issue.

Follow your spark plug wires from the spark plugs to the other end and that would be you distributor. It is behind the alternator.
