Ordered a 7/8 rack My rack is set to arrive tomorrow... I understand it's an easy install, but did you do anything extra, such as sealing? I've uninstalled and re-installed my OEM rack, but wasn't sure if I should do anything extra here.

Not at all!! I've had sun/moon roofs for all my cars and I was concerned about this, but really haven't thought about it since my cement came in. I'm still in awe as i'm driving it.
