The above link is for the REAR bypass joint gasket. Hope you got it squared away...
Over a year late, but yes. My vibration was generally only occurring at highway speeds of 55 MPH + and only occurred when letting off/coming back on to the gas pedal. It was mostly a felt vibration under foot, but it would occasionally be accompanied by some harmonics.
I'm no longer technically "DavisTN". I moved to Carbondale, CO on the western slope of the Rockies about 3 years ago. There is a special draw hunt in TN/GSMNP on the Cumberland Plateau(?), but I think they only have 500 tags/year. Elk hunting was a big part of why I moved here - along with...
Well - Let me tell you, getting the starter out of the V8 equipped 4Runner's is a blast. Mine failed on me while on a trail @ 251,000 miles. Pretty good service life, but I'd sacrifice replacing every 100,000 miles if they'd just stick it under the vehicle.
Getting the intake manifold off and...
Rear gate actuator
My gates ratchet strapped closed. Do you have the actuator? PM cost + shipping to 81623 (Carbondale, CO) if you have it and are willing to ship, PLEASE.
My suspension setup broke during elk season in ‘17. Threw this together to get me through September then found an alternate to Bilstein in December ‘17 and pulled these.
They’re sitting in a box in my front yard. Mounted with red enamel painted FJ coils but Will also include stock runner...
Nice rig. I was just talking the other day about how sweet it'd be to repaint my 4th gen in the Tacoma metallic blue.
To clarify - your sig line says you have an '06 with all the same specs as this one, but the listing title is for a 2007. Which is it? GLWS
Not saying you should wait, but I kept putting it off. Ended up doing it myself at 124K and everything looked brand new... no fraying or slipping of any kind. I'd say the 90k interval is highly precautionary. Did it again last year at 234k. Same deal. Everything looked just fine. Please...
These have been in storage for over a year, and I don't need them. Tires still on, but very little tread left. These are the 6-star 17" rims. Small amount of rash on two of the rims. Pickup in Glenwood or nearby. Want them gone!
Thanks
Chris
Unused J107 Dragonfly in Timber Veil that I purchased for the 2019 CO elk seasons. Expands to a total of 5,200 ci and carries weight, rifle, and/or bow extremely well. Wasn't large enough for my extended backcountry needs, so I went with a different system. This one never saw any field work and...
Bought the HD coils thinking I had enough weight to justify them. I was wrong and don't have plans to add more weight anytime soon.
I have a very light (+/- 35 lbs before tire) tire carrier, amp, sub, and tool box in the rear. With 3" lift in front and these in the rear, getting measurements...
Purchased stock strut assemblies from AutoZone in September to get me through winter after breaking a front set of Bilsteins. I took them apart and put the FJ coils on last week as I figure people will be more interested in an "upgrade" over stock struts/coils. Less than 5,000 mils on the...
