A related question: Should I expect that my 18 inch set of winter wheels that I had for my 2008 will go right on my new 2018 4Runner without an issue? Sorry if this seems like a silly question, I just have no idea...

LOL Yeah, they ended up having to dolly the backend. Apparently it was a busy morning with crashes because no flat beds were available. That's what the tow dude told me...

It was a Hyundai Elantra. If it had been something bigger like another 4Runner or F150 or something, I'm sure I would have rolled...No doubt in my mind...

As you say, at the end of the day it's just a vehicle that can be replaced. I just wish I could have replaced it on my own terms...lol...I would argue that it was a special vehicle given the fact that the V8 is not longer available. I'm not much of a "wheeler". More of a poser...lol...I just...

I so hear yah on leaving things well enough alone if you can...I don't have a lot of faith in some of these "mechanics"...Same experience here...never when moving...only from a cold start kinda thing...

In general, I too can be a little anal about things but in this case it is more a case of me being concerned that it might be indicative of bigger things to come... Will/wbwatson: Is your experience with it mainly from a cold start as well?

So for you it is exactly the same thing? Only when turning, from a stop, and cold? Surely someone else can chime in on this...gotta be others experiencing it... What year and motor do you have? Cheers

Yes, that sounds about right...cold starts more noticeable....Have you had it in for service? Did they say anything? I have never had the driveshaft serviced yet....kinda wondering if that might help... Cheers

No mods at all. Completely stock. Something is going on for sure. I can see it now when I take it in.... "Oh its normal", then right after my warranty runs out I'll eat it... I suppose I'm good for 5 years on the powertrain. My base 3 year warranty is up at the end of the year...

I have a 2008 V8 4runner limited... I notice when I am first starting out and moving from a stop and turning left or right there is almost a slight vibration or shudder felt throughout the entire body of the truck...It is only brief but is there...once I get moving in a straight line it seems...
