Haha, I actually don't have any other reasons to suspect the fuel pump at this point, and since it's not a common theme for replacements here on the forum it's not quite the "one true solution" in my mind just yet. :) My sound system is actually kind of lame...I have a double DIN touch screen...

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll give some fuel injector cleaner a shot first. I haven't checked the codes but I don't have any warning lights so I don't think I'll get any back. I will also check the battery voltage this weekend. Do starter contact problems have a particular sound? I'm asking...

I just replaced my spark plugs and wires, as well as the MAF and IACV about a month ago, and until today, I've had no problems. Today, when my engine was somewhat warm (sat for 3-5 hours), it took a lot longer to turn over and start up...I'd hit the starter for 5 seconds or more, turn it off...

Fair enough! Just wanted to make sure. I've done plenty of electronic work, but I wasn't sure if car batteries had different rules, or if this buildup was a sign of a bigger problem.
