Interesting, I haven't had any volume level issues. Granted I really only use Android Auto or the headunits YouTube app.
Long term, I am not exactly sold on this Dasaita unit. The longer I have owned it the more frequently I get random bugs. But I also haven't seen any other options that I like
Not entirely sure which wire is which to be honest. I had just bought the kit and grounded the wire that came with the grounding hole-through terminal on it.
Then just used the secondary plug connector to add an outlet to the front.
Has been working great.
Your best bet (I would think) would be VHT Nite-Shades, Rustoleum Lens Tint, PlastiDip Smoke. They're primarily used for tail lights and headlights but I'd think it'd work well on the chrome to get that darker but transparent look

Fluid check/fill
Drive shaft re-grease
Brake check and clean/paint calipers
Spot check rust converter

Have done plenty of oil changes before but this will be the first on the 4Runner and first using cartridge filters, used to the typical spin on cans...
About to do my first oil change next weekend, I like the idea behind these valves, but are you guys having to remove the valves to then remove the filter housing? Or what tool are you using to remove the housing with the valve still on?
