Well she's home!!! Little more rust then I was hoping for but it's all quarters and fenders. If I can live with it for a while a set of glass ones may be in the future. Someone remind me who sells them, I remember it was a member here.

I thought I remember a discussion in the past about the early 3.0's not being so prone to the infamous head gasket issues. Also I clearly remember people talking about how the 5spds were much less prone to head gaskets blowing as they could be "babied" more...could be depending on how you like...

My buddy that has my old '95 has been having some issues. He would start the truck and within a few seconds it would slowly bog down and die. For some reason he started it and held the key for a few seconds longer in the start position and it stayed running. He turned it off a few minutes later...

You can get hardware from the store. They come with studs that hold them on but I went with all stainless bolts when I rebuilt mine. Sorry I can't remember the sizes though, I took my studs to the store to match them up. There are cone washers you will need as well but not sure where you'd get...

FSM doesn't suggest it. I just rebuilt the top end of my 95 with no silicone. No problems yet.
