cameron, if you're talking about the metal coolant tubes that run just under the upper manifold, i believe they are a dealer item... however, if you go to your local pull a part, you might be able to score one. i've heard and read that those things go bad easy if water has been used... let me...

which tube/hose are you talking about? there is a coolant bypass block on the back of our engines where 2 or 3 hoses go to. its a PITA to get to though.

yea, seen them on jeeps and 3rd-5th gen runners. they look cool, kinda played out on jeeps, however not to many on 4runners... i'm thinking of buying the cbi ditch bracket and see how that matches up with my 2nd gen... i'm no fabricator, but cutting and bending an already fabed up product...

anyone seen or has done something along the lines of this type of light and mount, but for 2nd gens? any pics would be appreciated, i'm leaning towards ditch mount lights and modifying the 3rd gen light mounts found on CBI. any thoughts?

sweet, this is a dumb question, but are they gen specific? i can go to 4wheel parts and ask for a switch and wiring kit and they'll have everything i'll need?

i have a 95 3.0 runner and will be getting some light cubes for it and mounting them up. where can i go to find a complete wiring kit for light bars with switches? or if someone has pieced a wiring kit together what are some good sites to go to? i've searched here and google as well as ebay...

i have this same delema. i was just going to plasti-dip the chrome trim... no issues with new glass or new gasket or anything leaky and a lazy way around it. though, getting new glass, or a winshield guy to replace the gasket is best. let us know the route you take! and pics! :)

pisa, thats a nice rig! yea, i like the asthetics of those bumpers. i like plate bumpers better though, but for what they are, i like the looks of the old smitty's. i don't do any hard core or even moderate trail riding (just haven't gone out yet). thanks for the info everyone!

Oh, so these were specifically made for 4runners and smitty just discontinued them? i thought that some guys just took them from jeeps and bolted them up. Thanks for the info! i like the way they look more so than anything.lol. Fill the tubing with concrete.lol.

i have the same issue... at the moment i just deal with it... but 4bee is right, once you check out everything and its within spec, try cleaning your EGR tube in the manifold... i've read here that it gets all gunked up and nasty. thats what i'm going to do... plus a little sea foam never...

do you have nerf bars and tail lights by chance?
