    For those with 285/70/17

I have a 17 TRDORP and put on Wildpeak 285/70 r 17 tires last month. Here is what I had to do - as others have noted 'it depends' on what steps you have to do. 1. Fender liner mod - move it forward. This takes about 15 minutes to do both sides. You will need to do this. 2. Trim bumper -...

BFG KO2 vs Nitto Terra Grappler G2 vs Falken Wildpeak AT3W

I recently went through this decision matrix as well and ended up with the Wildpeak AT3 in 285/70r17 on my TRDORP. My driving habits are pretty much what you described, 95% on road. I have about 4000 miles on them and drove about 500 miles in a torrential rain storm on the interstate. The...

    Powered sub under passenger seat

Both the powered sub and amp are under the drivers seat. The amp is a micro sized amp - very small footprint with DSP. I was able to leave the vent under the seat as well. The sub was screwed into place and I used velcro on the Kicker Amp (like Heavy_GD pro tip). The powered sub is a Kenwood...

    Powered sub under passenger seat

I have a Kenwood powered sub under my drivers seat and then added Focal ISS690 speakers in the front doors/dash. That was a huge improvement from stock. Last month I installed the Kicker Key 180.4 amp under the drivers seat with the sub. That proved to be the difference maker. If you are...

    New Falken AT tire (A/T3W)

You'll need to do the front bumper trim and move the fender liner froward. It is very easy to do (and I didn't want to cut my plastic bumper and mess it up) but it turned out looking good. I recommend that you do those 2 things before putting the tires on. I had no rub on stock suspension...

    New Falken AT tire (A/T3W)

I put on a set of P285/70r17 Falken Wildpeaks on stock TRDOFP wheels about 1400 miles ago. I added the Bilstein 5100 shocks all around after 200 miles on the WildPeaks and the ride is far better than with the stock shocks. I am very happy with my decision to do that. You won't regret it.

    road noise deadening?

I have a 2017 stock TRD OR and thought it was a bit noisy as well. I elected to go with Hushmat (I didn't install it, had a local audio shop do it). This is from a previous post I did. I just had Hushmat installed in my 2017 TRD Off Road. It was installed in all of the doors, floors, rear...

    Crawford Eco Block

My personal take on it Jetboy is that driving time (to an extent) has everything to do with MPG and not the % city/highway. This was really just for me to see what the ecoblock would do for my particular situation. I don't think that the MPG is a significant increase, but I will be putting...
