I found out after the fact as well. However, you are allowed to cancel your Toyota extended warranty and I had the dealer upgrade mine to the top 125K one as opposed to me cancelling. Dennis.

I live in SoCal as well and the NavTraffic is pretty close to Google traffic for all the major freeways. Works great for on the fly re-routing which is so critical in LA driving! I like it. Dennis.

The Pathfinder was on my list along with my 4R Limited but the complete lack of 4WD versions of the PF in Southern California was very off-putting. I found like 3 in all of greater LA/OC/SB/SD counties. I had read good things about the racy Maxima motor in the PF though... Dennis.

I also found a surprisingly well made triple socket and 2 USB power port on Amazon. I wired it from behind the center console socket into the center storage and mounted it onto that little plastic divider insert. Takes a bit of room inside the console but keeps everything out of the way. Dennis.

My 2010 Limited with OEM tires did much better in snow than I expected, and this was on icy crud with up to several inches of powder on top. I had a Jeep Commander with BF Goodrich AT's and Quadra Trac before and my 4Runner seemed to track much better, even around corners. FWIW Dennis.
