Limited with NAV: Bluetooth Contacts Question...

Hi,

I have the factory Nav/phone/bluetooth and every couple of months all my imported contacts and speed dials are erased. My phone still shows in the bluetooth selections list, but all the imported data is gone. There is no other indication of a reset in any other system or linked to any service or other action.

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago also. I have no idea why either. I got in my truck and everything was gone.....no contacts.

So it's not just me? I guess that's somewhat soothing! I thought it might be related to using my iPhone as a bluetooth music device as well, but it still happened after I turned that off. It never happens mid-drive, just once in awhile when I get into my car and start it everything contact-wise is gone!

Anyone else with ideas???

I've seen the same symptom in my truck. The day it happened, I was on the phone talking away and the phone just stopped responding. (I have an iphone 3gs). I rebooted my iphone, and went back to place a call and my truck told me there was no phone. I had to repair it, then reimport my data.

The 2nd time it happened, everything just vansihed for reasons unknown. Address book, speed dials. Gone. NO idea whats going on here, but I decided to delete my phone - readded it, reimported, and redid my speed dials. It has now been a few months and I haven't seen it happen again.

I'm not sure what it was, but I think bluetooth is doing something funky. lol.

So far, it seems we both had the issue with an iPhone.. Anyone here have that issue using another phone?
