First off, I'd make sure that you have reason/justification for an SUV...do you need the cargo room, 4WD, ability to tow, etc.? You might find that the utility is not worth the handling/gas mileage trade-off. I personally need and regularly use these features, so it's worth it to me...

Stay away from Mickey Shorr!! They're terrible hacks, I know from unfortunate personal experience. It's not in Oakland County, but I suggest http://tomsautoglassinc.com/products.html I had a remote start installed there and my windows tinted, they did an excellent job on both.
