Not implying that it's bullet proof, only that it exists. SEMA would hardly exist without it since it represents mostly aftermarket.

Actually, it does not void your warranty and is protected under law by the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. It would be on the manufacture to prove that the aftermarket device caused a failure. But I get it, you need to be comfortable with what you do and there is no hurry.
