i have a 2010 sr5, bought it in 12/2009. probably one of the first batch. i have those spots with rusty color too, but they rub off. Again, these will be more noticeable on light-colored paints.

Warning light off...? Surprisingly, the check engine light went off today after work. The gas cap might be bad because even though it clicks, it is really easy to remove it. It does not feel tight at all. Will there be a history on the obd if the light is now off?

i hope so... I hope that is all. should I get a new cap from the dealer or buy a generic one from autozone? oh, will the check engine light rest by itself or do I have to do something? disconnect the battery?
