I forgot to mention I tried the washer trick also, there was play in my linkage and butterfly, but the washer made no difference in my idle =s. Interestingly enough there is play in my "New" throttle body as well, but it idles properly.

So I had a high idle issue for a very long time. and it took a very long time to solve it. My symptoms were. HIGH idle (1200 at temp), No codes. What I did first. Removed throttle body, and cleaned throttle body and AIC, reinstalled. My high idle GOT WORSE. 2500 RPM+ at temp, still no codes...

I pulled the spark plugs, dried them out and got it running.... talk about a white smoke show, good lord.. BUT now my idle is at 1600 when its cold and at temp... is my Aic pooched now? I cleaned the throttle body and aic, maybe the ecm needs to relearn now that all that gunk is out of there...

Long story short.... lmao. My AIC was getting serviced, and went well. Had a craigslist mechanic work on it...... He hooked up the coolant intake to the throttle body into the vacuum line on the aic. coolant pouring out of the exhaust pipe when he started it. now its hydro locked and wont...

Id assume to stop from bumping the shifter out of 4hi and into neutral accidentally? In the picture mine is pretty bent, would you suggest just leaving it out for the time being while a get a new one? I looked online for quite a while, I could not find a part number on that spring anywhere, you...

So I removed that bent spring thing, reinstalled my knob and now my front driveshaft is locked when my tcase is in the 4hi position! However my dash light doesnt come on. What is this spring thing? And do I need it? When I pulled the boot, it was just sitting in there.... Sent from my iPhone...

It appears like my Tcase "Physically has no 4Hi position" When I pull down from 2H to where 4Hi should be, my lever doesnt hold there and falls to the right, underneath neutral. Just learned this from getting buddy to send me a picture of his j case in 4H

Theres only one Vsv though, that controls both 4l and 4hi, so if 4low works shouldnt 4hi? Is my undersranding Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

AH, something is wrong with my T case. My shifter wont stay in the 4 hi position. It seems to act as neutral, the only two positions I can have my t case shifter in is 2H and 4Low, what would case this? Broken linkage? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
