Anyone done a relay/fusebox write up for the 5th gen?

When I had my 3rd gen Tacoma I just kept adding on wiring and relays as I added different auxiliary equipment and I'm looking for a cleaner, more professional way of adding ditch lights, lightbars, etc on my 4runner. I really just want to do it in an organized, slow, clean and professional...

    New power plant?

Cherokee and Grand Cherokee too, I think. I believe the Cherokee Trailhawk is the only unibody with a rear locker as far as I know.

4runner Tow Hooks - Recovery Points

For what its worth, I've done plenty of recoveries/pulls with the D-ring tow receiver setup in my old Tacoma and never felt I was doing anything risky. I just wanted to free the receiver up for more gear.

4runner Tow Hooks - Recovery Points

Right? I had the same thought. I have ARB front recovery points that I haven't been brave enough install yet and they are certainly beefy, but for 20 bucks a pop I had to try this out. They are certainly better than the stock tie downs.

4runner Tow Hooks - Recovery Points

Sure thing. I plan to hang a tree saver between the two hooks as a bridle and a snatch from that. I've got a spare tire carrier on the way. <blockquote class="imgur-embed-pub" lang="en" data-id="a/tDrBwos"><a href="//imgur.com/a/tDrBwos">4runner Tow Hooks</a></blockquote><script async...

4runner Tow Hooks - Recovery Points

I installed a Gibson exhaust and left the last piece off to make a turn down exhaust. Did a similar setup with my Tacoma. <blockquote class="imgur-embed-pub" lang="en" data-id="a/c2U2Rnk" data-context="false" ><a href="//imgur.com/a/c2U2Rnk"></a></blockquote><script async...

    2022 6th gen is coming

I expect so. I look forward to a turbo or hybrid model, I just hope they can preserve the rock hard reliability. My 2016 Tacoma with the 3.5 liter was.... less than stellar.

4runner Tow Hooks - Recovery Points

Hey Guys! Just wanted to share the good news. I took a gamble on some RedRock "Tacoma" recovery hooks from Extreme Terrain (not shilling, if you find them somewhere else grab em) RedRock 4x4 Tacoma Tow Hook Kit - Black TT2398 I wasn't sure if they would fit the bolt pattern drilled into the...

Technical Question: Upgrading OEM Coils, Keeping Stock Shocks

Hey so just and update. I read a bunch of MAST4R's posts but couldn't decipher whether or not he ran stock shocks with aftermarket lift coils. I chickened out and ordered some 1-3 inch fox 2.0 IFP shocks to match the front. Who needs savings anyway?

    Florida wheeling?

Im down in Sarasota. I've only done Citrus once with a buddy, but it was a blast. I also did Destin a while back too, but that would be a huge haul for me from here.

Technical Question: Upgrading OEM Coils, Keeping Stock Shocks

Thank you sir! I will swap them eventually, but I only have like 11k on the stock suspension and I was hoping to save for a while before I drop another couple hundred bucks.

Technical Question: Upgrading OEM Coils, Keeping Stock Shocks

I've got Fox 2.0 coilovers in the front now, but I'm stock in the rear. I was hoping to use a lift coil spring in the rear in lieu of a spacer with the stock OEM shocks for the time being. I wanted to make sure that was safe first.

Technical Question: Upgrading OEM Coils, Keeping Stock Shocks

But will it work? Whats the difference between using a lift spring and a 2 inch spacer like many guys do?

Rear Cabin Vents On 2019 4Runner?

OP, you're probably thinking of the gx460. My buddy had one and it has rear climate, optional rear heated seats and a couple extra vents. Also the 4.6 liter v8.

Technical Question: Upgrading OEM Coils, Keeping Stock Shocks

Hey guys, Former Tacoma owner here so I'm a little unfamiliar with modding the rear of the 4runner. I just ordered a set of ICON 2" rear coils and I hear a bunch of people claim its alright to run a 2 inch spacer with stock shocks. So my question is this: From an offroad/suspension geometry...
