I highly suggest buying a 5, 8, or 10 pound propane tank if you're gone that long . Those 1lb green cans get expensive pretty quick. I only bring 1 green can with me in case my 5lb'er runs out. But its nice to pay for propane by the pound. Plus, it takes up a lot less space than 5/8/10 cans!

I've heard of a replacement rack bushing, but there's nothing really to upgrade besides new stuff.

Those look super overkill! but how much is piece of mind worth to you? I'm not a fan of heim/rose joints for longevity though.

that's exactly my motivation for this project. I used boxes within my boxes, but stuff still got buried. With my setup now, I can find things in the dark no problem, as i know exactly where they are. Also, 4 hours down a dirt road on its back and everything stayed where it was supposed to be.

have you already gotten a new axle housing? that doesn't look like anything some JB weld can't handle. I'd smooth that down, JB, then sand again. Not like that area is critical for pressure anything. It's worth a shot before going through replacing the housing, I'd say.
