i don't trust shops to do any kind of work. i've been fooled too many times. there's nothing hard about swapping out the muffler at my driveway.

Do you know what the nuts and bolt size for mufflers and tail pipes? it's all rusted so i need to buy them as well.... it doesn't come with it.

ah sorry. pipe that connects to catalytic converter rusted off lol so, i need to buy a muffler and a tail pie altogether. can't even save my old tail pipe cause tail pipes are all rusted off as well. -__- I've heard that california emission one and federal emission one are different in size...

wow... i did passenger side, but this driver side wouldn't even move. after 2 days of hammering and pouring wd40/gear oil all over the damn drum, i call this super super duper stuck. i even cut out the lip and tried hitting it with 10lb sledge hammer and it won't work.. i'm gonna make a trip to...

Finally did it!!!!!!!!!!!! used makeshift jaw puller with big pry bar. omg took me so long. Now i have to make a trip to the dealer to buy outer seals and change the brakes on both side. i'll post an update on that.

yup, i've been beating them with good old steel hammer and sledgehamer, it won't even budge. I guess its time to pull it off it jaw puller. if not, i guess i have to use timmy's method.

Yup i meant i released the brake. i watched the timmy the toolman's video and followed his method. With leaking axle seal and axle oil that got into shoes for few months, i'm telling you guys, hammer ain't the way to go. but, i'll give it a shot again with metal hammer. if it doesn't work, time...

it was 12mm bolt and i've used rubber mallets to hit all sides for 2 hours..... hitting won't do anything at this point. and i've used screw drivers from the back to tighten the drum brake all the way.... ok,,, i'm just gonna run to harbor freight and buy a jaw puller and makeshift it so i can...
