wheels are toe in after lift..how to i straighten them?

That's camber, not toe in. Toe in is when they're closer at the front of the tire than at the back. I don't have a lot of experience with IFS but I believe an offset balljoint may be required to fix camber issues. Maybe someone else will have better advice about how to fix it, if it were me...

lower radiator hose cooler than top

I agree with the above posters that everything seems to be working properly as long as your temp isn't running too high. The water coming out of the rad at the bottom should be cooler than at the top where the hot water is going in. If your temp is getting above normal and the lower rad hose...

2nd gen- small lift or skid plates/sliders?

My experience in wheeling has taught me that while a lift/tires/winch/locker, will get you further down the trail, protection like a skid plate will make sure you get home. I would definitely look into an oil pan skidplate, I'm new to 4runners so I don't know where to look though, sorry...

Should i use these tow hooks?

By tug I meant get a pull using your bungie strap. In my experience one attempt doesn't always work, so it would suck to have to get out and go hook the strap back up between pulls.

    Dual Batteries

I'm looking to install my Yellowtop in my 91, and wanted to run it as a second battery for winch and accessories, so I won't run down my primary for starting. Wondering if anyone has advice or pics on where they've installed a 2nd battery in a 2nd gen. I don't see much room under the hood so...

Should i use these tow hooks?

Hard to tell how big and strong they are from the pics... I always prefer to use d-rings instead of hooks when possible. Straps can't fall off between tugs that way.

    new owner

I just got my 91 a couple weeks ago too. I'm new to 4runners but not to wheeling, so my advice is to wheel it stock first. Find the type of trails that you like, try them stock, and then you'll see exactly where you need to make improvements. I'm building mine slowly on a budget too, so here's...
