Dual Batteries

I'm looking to install my Yellowtop in my 91, and wanted to run it as a second battery for winch and accessories, so I won't run down my primary for starting.

Wondering if anyone has advice or pics on where they've installed a 2nd battery in a 2nd gen. I don't see much room under the hood so I'm thinking maybe in the back?

they sell a two battery tray that i have seen fit into the first gen.

Some guys run it from the rear cargo area or under the truck itself.

Keep in mind you want to keep the second battery on your chargeing system. and you will need to place a multi battery conrol unit in the system.

You can mount one on each side. You need to use an isolator so they don't get into a charge/discharge loop when the engine is off.

Hmm, my airbox is in the way on the driver side. I guess I need a snorkel!
I've got an isolator on order to make it all work properly.
