73 retired and still busy I will be 74 at the end of next month. I retired about a 1 1/2 years ago. I've been driving a 4runner since 2004 - first a 2004 Sport and then a 2015 SR5 and now a 2017 ORP. This will probably be the last one - only has 54K on it and I don't do as much driving anymore...

You don't need anything fancy. A set of metric sockets will do it. If I remember correctly there are 5 bolts on each side.

$54/year in NE Ohio for license tags. Varies a bit by county for their cut but I would imagine a couple of dollars either way of that cost.

The auto door locks when putting into drive or park can be changed by you. The instructions are in the user manual and involves the shifter, the key and the door lock switch. Timing is everything. If it says within 5 seconds in means 5 seconds. If you want to invest in modifying other features...

Automatic climate control - My 04 sport had it. Why doesn't my 17 ORP have it? Same trim line - going back in time to manual 3 knobs. I really miss it. Set it and forget it. No constant fiddling as conditions change.

Drove my 4th gen for over 10 years before I knew there was a light in there. I always assumed that it wasn't lit. Evidently I always looked in the glove box when the vehicles lights were off!
