Yeah pretty simple. I've done it before. Problem is it's August in the South east so hot and humid as hell for a couple more weeks. May wait till a little cooler weather.

So I changed front/rear/t-case oil on my 2016 4Runner @ 20K miles. She's at 60K miles now. I changed out the rear diff fluid today, Using Mobil 1 Synthetic 75W90 Gear oil again. Do I need to change the front out as well? I don't get to use 4X4 nearly as much as I'd like. thanks

I've always assumed it was for offroad driving? I don't think a super agressive throttle tip in would be good for that.

So after changing all my fluids the only issue I had was that the first 3 or 4 times I shifted into and out of 4LO it made a clunk. But now it’s buttery smooth.

Same here. My 2016 had 21K miles when I did mine this weekend. Transfer case looked ok, but front and rear were definitely dark, and metal paste on the diff magnets

Not today, but over the weekend I changed out the oil in the front and rear diffs and transfer case. Put Mobil 1 75W90 in it. Not a bad job, the front sucks because of the skid. I also installed my Lifetime led H11 bulbs. Makes a great difference. Mine came from the dealer with LED foglights...

Ouch I feel for you. Here in SC it's about $2.15/gal right not. That being said I do commute 60 miles a day to work now. Racked up 21K miles first year of owning my 4Runner. That being said I looked into getting something more fuel efficient, but I wouldn't be happy with it, plus the 4Runner...

Yup. I've noticed that mine doesn't do too bad below about 70MPH. But on long interstate trips where average is closer to 80 MPH just to keep up with traffic the MPG really suffer. Aerodynamics are a *****. Similarly if i take a highway trip where average is around 60 MPH i've average over 20...

I have a 2016 SR5 Premium in Nautical Blue. This color is the only one that makes me seriously think about trading mine in to get this color :(

According to fuelly app i'm averaging 18.6 MPG over the first 10K miles. That being said I don't drive gently, and highway speeds average 70+ MPH.
