Toyota packages their vehicles rather specifically (at least in southern California and on the 4Runner). If you want an option that can't be easily dealer- or self-installed, like the stock Nav system, it's a special order vehicle.
Installing an aftermarket Nav would be perfectly acceptable but...

Before tax, title, license and after $1,000 Toyota rebate, it was $30,650. I believe the invoice price for the nav is around $2,100 and for the mirror it's around $120.
