I just installed a gobi ladder today. Takes 20 minutes and is really a nice design. You should just buy a Gobi ladder and be done.

Ok climbed under the truck and it has the correct shocks 89160. Again thanks to everyone who put the time in to get the problem corrected.

Pitstain that is nice to have. Mine was already on dealer lot. But was delivered to them the first week of August. All I have is a window sticker. Wonder if dealer can pull this paper work up somehow. Would the part number be visible on the shock?

Wow you guys all put in some work and research and many hours at the dealerships. Way to go getting it fixed. I just picked up my 2016 TRD Pro last week 8/9/16. Would the shocks put on mine have the updated parts or is there a way I can check to see if it has the correct ones? Really love this...

How were the fender flares for install? Did you have to drill any sheet metal or just plastic fender wells. Very nice build!

I have electric trailer brakes. I tow anywhere from 2,000 to 3,500lbs with my atvs. It makes it so nice to tow and you don't feel the weight of the trailer when coming to a stop.

Totally false... You have crappy insurance if they don't cover because of a grille guard. When I added my TRD to my insurance policy my agent said let me have a list of all accessories you put on so we can cover them in case of loss or accident.

I think it is just for looks as you say. Not everyone wants to cut off their nice new bumper for a ARB unit. It's not meant to save you in a accident - it's just there for looks. I think it looks nice.

Your not alone. I'm 6'1" and think I may have finally found the sweet spot after a week with the seat on my @016 TRD Pro. Toyota seats always feel hard and uncomfortable to me when they are new. Best of luck. If all else fails Recaro bucket...
