I remember it like it was yesterday...
When I got my first 4Runner I became a fan right away; it was like the
Halley Berry/Beyonce Knolls of fine automobiles to me! But it needed something more... something to make it my own! I started with the
'Vent-Shades'! But that wasn't enough. What else does it need, I thought... I was living in Atlanta at the time (that's where I bought the
"Candy apple" red 4Runner, at a dealership in Conyers Ga (
Conyers Toyota), on I-20 east W/EXACTLY 40,000 miles on the clock!). I was paying cash that I'd saved-up, so I was able to negotiate new Dunlap Touring rubber and made them throw in the running boards too (just straight pimp'd em-out

imp: lol!) There was a "House-of-Chrome" not too far from where I got it that sold all kind of accessories, special rims and knick-knacks, and that's where I saw the black
'Brush guards'! I got the front BG's first, just to test the vibe! Then I caught the bug for real(!), and needed the rears as well, so I added them a lil' later:
IMHO, the 4Runner looks just as good as any 4x4 on the road (or off-road) whether with or W/O accessories!
rig, Cheers!
