    New Arrival - 99 Limited 4x4 - Bone Stock w/Pics! - Requesting Input

I suppose I'm confused by that on the ball joints. If Toyota's are known to fail, why would we go back to them?

    New Arrival - 99 Limited 4x4 - Bone Stock w/Pics! - Requesting Input

After a LONG search I finally picked up a 99 Limited 4x4 and its bone stock. The seller owned it for the past 16 years and before that his Uncle owned it who bought it new from the dealership. I checked multiple VIN history sites and verified, so I’m officially the 3rd owner. 224K on the...

    Ok to hose off engine??

I've been washing engine bays for years...okay decades. I agree with leftyguns21, dont get to close with whatever you're dispensing the water with be it a garden hose (my choise) or high pressure car wash. My formula = spray Simple Green, let soak 5-10 mins, rinse with garden hose. If you...

    median income of 4runner owners

Hahaha... funny question. You buy the Runner to keep from going broke and spend your extra cash on mods. If you've ever owned a Dodge, you spend all your money keeping it rolling until the next expected break-down. BTW, I've never owned a Chrysler product.

Advice for purchasing another 3rd gen...long distance

Good advice, thank you. I never thought about asking for a cold start video, excellent idea. I found most Craigslist sellers in my area (NorCal) to be either clueless on what maintenance they have done..really???... or just people who drive them until they are nearly dead. I'll keep the...

    Fightman's Build Thread

Very impressive! Just throwing it out there, I do like the roof rack but it seems a little lack-luster compared to the rest of that great build.
