Fair enough. Same thing I was doing when I was spraying 100% methanol on a progressive controller that had a built in MAP sensor. I just "drove around" closed loop boost situations.
Snorkel looks killer btw
True true it doesn't hurt but he was saying he was leaning out the stock 240s with stock fuel pump and injectors. I was implying the stock fule pump is capable of delivering enough fuel to suppose around 300whp. Just throwing it out there because I'm not sure many have pushed a stocker to close...
I didn't use a harness so can't help you there but I went thru the ECU harness grommet on the firewall. You have to remove the two 10mm bolts to be able to properly get wires and hoses thru. My wideband and boost gauge wires/hose went thru a grommet on the driver side.
Thought I would log in to help potential installers that I just finished installing my FIC a couple days ago with the latest 3.08 hex file. I had a bad misfire hesitation, whatever you want to call it around 2,000rpm under load. Everything was reading properly with ODBII reader and FIC gauges...
You have ADD hubs, not auto locking hubs. You have a thick metal flange that connects your CV half shafts to the wheel. The CV shafts turn all the time which is nice because you can throw you transfer case lever into 4WD and be ready to rock n roll. There is a coupling in your front axle that...
If the front end and interior is in average/good shape, I would think $2,000-$2,500 around central OK would be fair. Maybe up to $3,000 if you found the right person. I've purchased two 2nd gens in similar shape.
How's that for a thread ressurection?! It's been a couple years since I posted so can't remember if I posted these or not. Here's what I used Toyota 2nd Gen 4Runner Coil Spring Spacers and Panhard Drop Brackets

If the rings were bad, would there by blow-by coming out of the ERG hose if I took it off of the manifold side? If not, where would blow-by be evident?
Would a simple compression test tell me if it was indeed the rings? What would be the symptoms of a PCV valve that isn't working correctly. I've never touched it in 100k miles that I've owned it.
I was following my wife (she was driving the 4runner) and going up an incline or passing someone the exhaust would smells BIG TIME like firecrackers. I'm not burning any coolant. It's not a sweet or sulphury smell. Definitely a sharp firecracker smell. I have big oil usage/leakage issues...
I have a 95 T4R- 3.0 auto 2wd. The cruise control engages, but usually shifts up and runs about 3k and won't shift back down no matter the grade. The throttle pedal goes in and out and the car jerks and accelerates and decelerates. It'll maintain speed but has an awful way of doing it. Has...
