Decided to break-in the LE today

I am now thinking of trading in my SR5 and getting the LE for its awsome capability. Great post.

Class IV hitch for Motorcycle Carrier

Yea two bikes would be way too much for a class III hitch. The total weight is about 295 lbs. 220 for bike plus 75 for carrier. The suspension goes down more when I have three people in the back of the vehicle. Its holding it up pretty well. The motorcycle carrier actually has a hitch attached...

Class IV hitch for Motorcycle Carrier

After several months of reasearch, I finally decided on the steel Versahaul. These pics are w/out airbags. Havent driven it on the hwy yet though. Looks kinda of scary, but I havent found any review of where the carrier and or bike fell off. Has anyone else used a hitch carrier?

    SR5 Upgrade or Trail Edition

I'm 6'5". That is one of the main reasons I went with the SR5. It felt ever so slightly bigger as far as head room. I also like the looks of the SR5 better although really wish I had the KDSS. For off roading purposes both SR5 abd TE are very capable in stock form.

    Operation Cargo Makeover (Interior Remodel)

Very cool idea. I carry my sons motorcycle and all kinds of other stuff that makes the carpet impossible to clean. This would make a very cool factory option. I had a FJ for two weeks before I traded it in for the 4Runner. The coolest part about the FJ is that is had no carpet anywhere making...

    less car for more money

Ive owned Nissans, fords, Mitsubishis, VW's, Suzuki's and Toyotas. Out of every car I've owned only the toyota and Nissan actually felt like a well buit vehicle. When choosing a new car I looked at everything including the cherokee (which is very nice looking and driving) but way too much money...

Roof Rack and Hitch Setups HERE!

I got Rocky Mounts roof bike rack for my 4Runner and Altima. The quality is far greater then any Yakama or thule I've ever had. I highly recommend them. Sorry I dont have any pics yet. They also fit with the factory oval crossbars.

Class IV hitch for Motorcycle Carrier

Thanks for the replys everyone. I think I will have to get a single carrier. I can get an aluminum one that weighs about 50 lbs. My bike's curb weight is about 230. So thats about 280 lbs, well under the 500 lb max.

    Official 5th Gen T4R Off-Road pics

2JZTT, that is a nice looking 4Runner. I wanted the shorline blue, but there wasnt any within 1000k miles of my dealer.

brock, I know there is a post about this somewhere, but when you added the lift and the 285's did you notice that your MPG's decressed? If so by how much. A lift and 285's are on my "wish list" for my 4Runner. The tricky part is convincing my wife to let me spend the money on it:)

Class IV hitch for Motorcycle Carrier

The two carriers I'm thinking about are the Aluminum Rage powersports AMC 600-2 or the Versahaul double carrier. I dont want a trailer due to the room it would take up in my garage. My 2011 Tacoma that i sold to get the 4runner had a much smaller engine, but a class IV hitch and higher towing...

Class IV hitch for Motorcycle Carrier

I have a 2011 4Runner (SR5 Mag. gray) that came with the standard class III hitch. I've searched the internet and cannot find a class IV hitch for a 5th gen (or even a class III for a 5th gen). Anyone know where I can find a class IV? I'm wanting to attach a double dirtbike carrier. Both bikes...
