I'm still curious if it will fit my '13. There is an SRS plug in the a-pillar, but the A-pillar part number is different from '14.

My wife has been asking for one of these since day 1 of ownership! Is there any reason it wouldn't work on a 2013 5th generation?

We have a '13 Limited with Entune Premium Nav. The screen resolution and UI are kind of weak compared to the Entune Premium Nav on my '17 Tundra. Does anyone know if the new units are plug-n-play on a '13?

I didn't think of the fact it could be the HU. My Tundra has a newer version of the Entune that is in the 4Runner. That absolutely could be the cause for the grainy blurry picture.

I just bought a new Tundra, and the backup camera is infinitely better than the one on our '13 4runner. I'm wondering if there is a Plug and play camera upgrade, or if one from a newer Toyota can be retrofitted? The old one just seems blurry and bad in low light situations.

Carista is an app you buy for your phone/ipad. I use it with a cheap OB2 interface from Amazon. The one I got was Veepeak Mini WiFi OBD2 OBDII. The Carista version you buy on Amazon is excellent as well, but costs a bit more.

Those speakers are big and loud. The volume can be set low and still be really loud back there. Try this. Set your music at a comfortable level. Then crawl back there. :horn: See what I mean? We don't want deaf dogs, nor is the volume ungodly loud.

I was set on buying the Toyota RS because it was plug-n-play, and covered under my factory and extended warranty. It would also be installed by a Toyota tech who knows how the truck comes apart/goes back together again. I'm not sure I can live with the short-comings - especially the 10 minute...
